Introduction & Rules
Hai. I'm Mel. I'm not a big icon maker in the sense that it's my favourite hobby, but these journals are trendy so I'm jumping on board that bandwagon. Actually, I have far too many icons and other types of graphics taking up space on my precious harddrive, so I've decided to compile them into one nice place as well as share them with my fellow IJers. The graphics on here won't be available to the public for the time being, but if you really want to view them, add me and I will add you back. I normally notice new additions to my 'friends of' list fairly quickly, however if you're concerned that I will skip over you, feel free to drop me a line. I don't bite, promise.
Additionally, if you remove me, I will remove you back, no questions asked. If that happens and you wish to continue to view my icons, simply re-add me and I will do the same. No hard feelings, I just prefer to keep things even.
I don't ask much, but I do have three simple rules:
1. If you do take any of my graphics, credit. Commenting is nice, but not required.
2. Don't redistribute my icons. If you feel like sharing them, that's fine, but I'd rather you direct others to this journal rather than handing out my work.
3. These are not bases. Please don't add brushes/text/gradients/whatever to them. They are what they are, so don't tweak them.
Simple enough, non? I thought so. There really isn't an excuse not to credit. If you have time to right click and save each picture, you have time to right click and paste credit into the comment box. Besides, for all the work I put into photoshop and into uploading these babies, the least I deserve in return is a little consideration. Comprende hombre? Fabulous.
